What We Do
Lighthouse Homes is a Christian Charity and Company limited by guarantee, which exists to relieve poverty, and advance the education of people, particularly those who are homeless in the Rotherham area.
Lighthouse Homes offer Christian inspired residential communities, providing opportunities for change in both lifestyle and values. Our aims include the advance of the Christian faith. We are an ecumenical project, whose roots are in Churches Together. However, all are welcome at Lighthouse Homes, those of all faiths and none.
Through a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we assess and support residents to meet their personal and housing need. We operate a keyworking system and all residents are encouraged to take part in our weekly programmes of 10 hour plus activities. We work inclusively and encourage acceptance and an openness to all personal beliefs
We could not do what we do at Lighthouse Homes without the partnerships that we rely upon to support our work, with local authorities, churches, charities, businesses and individuals within our communities
