Our Volunteers
Over the years we have had over 20 volunteers offering time, skills and resources to the work here. They come from many different churches, and from beyond the traditional church communities.
They are essential to the programme of care and community that is at the heart of the Lighthouse and it is they that give the project its great atmosphere.
Staff
We currently have 35 staff across our different sites, who come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our staff all share the same commitment to support, care and encouragment our residents.
About 1/3 of our staff have experienced first hand homelessness and addiction and are an essential part of our community.
All staff are sympathetic to the Christian faith and most profess an open Christian life, however we are interested in speaking to anyone who feels a sense of calling in any way to serve the homeless people, within the valuses and standards of Lighthouse Homes.
