In addition to our housing offering, we provide the following services.
Enriching the Lighthouse Experience- Community
We seek to help our residents rebuild their confidence and friendships, as well as address their personal issues.
Our Church partners offer opportunities for our residents to volunteer, serving the community through a range of projects, including foodbanks and street outreach to the homeless. We are also in partnership with volunteering agencies in the wider charity sector. We offer support into local employment.
During the year, we attend festivals and conferences as we are able and we have an annual trip to Crookstone Barn in the Peak District

Programmes at Lighthouse
Each of our projects is different and each location has a range of activities to enrich the Lighthouse experience.
Our partners Crisis, offer renting ready, computer, art, cookery, and confidence/ relaxation courses at a number of our sites.
Some of our sites have listening services for one to one support in addition to key-working. We offer the Keys to Freedom course at three sites, and 12 steps and Narcotics/Alcoholics Anonymous attendance where possible.
Devotions
In addition to optional daily devotions and weekly services, some sites have Alpha and First Steps Bible study courses. Transport for those who wish to attend Church is usually available.

Sport
We offer sports activities, general fitness and football in partnership with Rotherham United and Chesterfield football clubs.
Sunday Night Café
The Sunday Night Café was established to offer food, friendship and faith on a Sunday evening to all in need, and is staffed by a large number of local churches on a regular rotation, but with a core number of dedicated volunteers.
